Volunteering

As part of our new service, we are also recruiting three types of volunteers!

See below for more information on each role:

Role 1: Volunteer Friend

Are you looking to socialise and meet new people? Are you an empathetic person with a desire to help other young people? We are looking for empathetic young people who can build a friendship with a young person to help them improve their confidence and self-esteem.

Role 2: Group Volunteer

Do you have excellent organisational skills and a desire to help other people? Are you looking for experiencing leading group workshops? We are looking for young adults who can help us organise and deliver group workshops and events.

Role 3: Online Volunteer

Do you have excellent social media skills and a desire to help other young people? Are you looking to develop your portfolio in a professional setting? We are looking for young adults who can help us expand our online presence.

For all of our volunteer roles, we are looking for the following:

  • Young adults aged between 18 – 26 living in Kirklees.
  • Empathetic nature and kind personality.
  • Willingness to attend in-person and online training sessions.
  • Ability to follow procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
