SUPPORT FOR PARENTS & FAMILIES

We believe that in order to support children, we must ensure that they have a solid support system at home. That’s why we also provide services to the parents and wider families of children. This includes support into employment, child contact centres, parental conflict sessions, vitamins for expectant mothers, and e-learning courses.

Family Time

Our Family Time services provide a safe and supportive environment for children, parents and carers to spend time together.

Accident Prevention e-Learning

This training course is designed to raise the awareness of parents, carers, and practitioners of the causes of childhood accidents. This free eLearning course teaches how to reduce risks and keep children safe.

Kirklees Families Together

The Kirklees Families Together partnership acts as a holistic knowledge base for families in North Kirklees, helping children, parents and young people to discover the services they need most in their local area.

National Healthy Start

If you’re more than 10 weeks pregnant you may be entitled to get help to buy healthy food and milk through the Healthy Start voucher scheme.

We run creche sessions for children aged 0-5 and mothers every week at Brian Jackson House
