Fresh Futures operates two alternative provision colleges that welcome students who have found that mainstream education isn’t for them and are facing exclusion. The colleges, located in Huddersfield and Heckmondwike, support pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
Fresh Futures colleges aim to inspire all our pupils to be motivated and successful citizens, equipped to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow. We have created a positive environment that offers a fresh start and encourages and promotes pupils’ academic, social, moral, spiritual and cultural learning.
Elevate
Elevate aims to develop young people’s confidence, self-esteem and social skills.
We welcome anyone aged between 18 – 26 and living in Kirklees who wants to make more social connections and develop their confidence.
We are especially keen to help those young people who are struggling to find employment or further education opportunities, as we know this group can feel invisible and in need of empowerment.
Employability Programme
Fresh Futures’ new Employability Programme helps young adults aged between 18 – 26 years begin their journey towards finding employment.
We have developed our innovative Employability Programme to help young people get employment ready and equip them with the skills, experience and understanding to feel confident applying for jobs.
