ELEVATE
Our Young Adults Service
Elevate aims to develop young people’s confidence, self-esteem and social skills.
We welcome anyone aged between 18 – 26 and living in Kirklees who wants to make more social connections and develop their confidence.
We are especially keen to help those young people who are struggling to find employment or further education opportunities, as we know this group can feel invisible and in need of empowerment.
At Elevate, we have worked with young people to co-create different support pathways:

1:1 Peer support: We help young people start a friendship with a like-minded person of a similar age, to build confidence and self-esteem.
Groups: We create and facilitate regular groups and events, offering the chance to meet new people and socialise. Young people can also initiate ideas and make decisions about the direction of the service, as part of our Thinking Group, which helps them gain valuable skills and experience for future employment.
