How do I set up a Just Giving page?

How do I set up a Just Giving page? image

Start by setting up your page!

Visit www.justgiving.co.uk and follow the step-by-step guide to setting up a page. Don’t forget to make sure it’s Fresh Futures you’re fundraising for. Double check you can see our logo when you select your charity!

Make it personal! Edit the text to tell your fundraising story. Statistics show that a personalised page receives more donations.

Add a photo of yourself, set a fundraising target and tell your donors what your event or challenge means to you. Let your supporters know why you’re supporting Fresh Futures and what it means to you personally.

Tell the world!

Start sharing your page on social media and email it to your family and friends and at your workplace. Don’t be shy of sending your page around more than once – you can’t guarantee that everyone will have seen it the first time so share a couple of times on social media.

How will the money raised be spent?

How will the money raised be spent? image

The money raised by your fundraising event will be spent directly on our work supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and their families. This may mean we use the money to provide warm spaces, or to enable us to offer household support vouchers, or to support the young people at our alternative provision.  Every penny raised will be directed to our charitable services ensuring we can support more children and young people than ever before.

Can I direct my funding to a specific project?

Can I direct my funding to a specific project? image

We aim to support the children and young people who need us most so for this reason we’d really like your donations to be ‘unrestricted’. This means that you are not restricting what project we spend your donation on. It also helps our work to be more efficient by reducing our administration costs, meaning your money and donations reach more children and young people, and their families.

However if you have a specific project that you’re passionate about that you’d like to direct your money to, please contact [email protected] and we’re happy to discuss this with you and see how we can help.
